Upskilling From Home – Career Development Resources

We all know that today regular upskilling is the new normal for workers hoping to stay relevant and employable throughout their career. Career development and upskilling requires consistent effort, and when you work remotely there are certain things that you should keep in mind. You shouldn’t feel the need to jump into a rigorous study programme if you’re not changing careers entirely. Rather, it can prove more beneficial to pick a single skill to learn at a time. Once you have finished your first course, or series of exercises, you’ll be better able to gauge what you can personally take on, making it easier for you to select the appropriate learning method the next time around. In order to keep your skills competitive, we recommend you find a schedule that works well for you and keep a record of new areas to address going forward. In doing this, you will develop a career-long habit that will ensure you remain valuable to your existing company and that your CV stays on the top of hiring managers’ desks.
